I work in the legal field in accounting and administration. I also currently work with an artist from Cuba named Reynier Llanes. My interests include art, architecture, design, illustration and gardening. I love to read and draft designs. I love new projects and always have a few going.
My intellectual focus is currently on current events in Cuba and Africa, Cuban and African-American Art from the 20th century and renewable/sustainable business enterprises. Everything green, as they say. Solar photovoltaics and WVO are business categories I am involved with now.
Gardening and the local food movement are a current passion as well. I am very interested in the cultural implications of the commodification of food and how it has modified society. Personally, I am working on a container “victory garden” for my personal consumption. It is new for me, and slow-going, but rewarding.
